weekly 25% water changes are recommended to maintain water quality.
Provide heavy live plant coverage around the edges and back while leaving an open center for swimming.
High-quality micro pellets or finely crushed flake food. Supplement with live or frozen daphnia, baby brine shrimp, and cyclops. Feed 2 to 3 times daily. Provide only what they can consume within two minutes to prevent water fouling.
Avoid any fish large enough or aggressive enough to view small tetras as food. Ideal choices include the Corydoras catfish, small rasboras, guppies, hatchetfish, and peaceful dwarf gouramis. Keep a minimum group of 6 to 8 fish. Schools of 10 or more reduce stress significantly.
